The 2008 ‘Battle of the South Classic’ was a huge success with ninety-five (95) teams participating from Mississippi, California, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee and Texas. Major scouting services will be on hand to observe and evaluate the talent during the tournament. Individual awards and team trophies will be given to the top two teams in each age division. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3-4 games with over half getting at least (6) six. |

We we will be having tryouts Saturday august 30th at 1pm till 4pm for our upcoming fall/winter season. The west Texas elite is a select basketball team in Lubbock Texas. We are looking for all players in the west Texas area that are ready to play at the next level. we are very competitive. our teams are looking for experienced players. We will have boys team in 8u,10u,and 12u We play league play at the premier sportsplex in Lubbock and we do travel to tournaments in such places as midland, Odessa, Amarillo and the dfw area. There is no cost to tryout. League play doesn’t start until November but we will start practicing in September once a week on Saturdays.
